4 oz draft at Barnhouse. Dark brown with light tan head. Aromas of light bourbon, vanilla, chocolate. Tastes of light bourbon, caramel, chocolate, nuts. Medium body with a dry finish. Could use more bourbon as it seemed very subtle.
Growler from the brewery. It pours a slightly viscous dark brown with a creamy tan head. Delightful nose of chocolate and roasted malt. A hint of vanilla. Creamy and smooth on the tongue with a little bourbon, more vanilla, chocolate, light mocha, and a touch of earth. Really nicely done. solidfunk (9002) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JUN 18, 2014
Makers’ mark barreling is well done. Pours cloudy with a little more of a red tint than the regular porter and loses some of the other’s sweetness. Subtle barrel flavour that isn’t overdone. Drank this beer on the barrel it was brewed in - now a table at Brewpub. BeerandBlues2 (13594) - Escondido, California, USA - JUN 7, 2014
Tap at the brewery. Pours dark brown with a medium, frothy beige head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is roast and chocolate malt, bourbon and oak with vanilla notes and earthy hops. Flavor is dark bitter malt, dark fruits, medium hops and bitterness with a sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation. Travlr (25174) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 26, 2013
Draft at the source. A big thanks to Radagast83 for snatching the last bit of the keg. Aroma of big bourbon, chocolate, vanilla. Taste also has lots of boirbon that dominates all else.

Draft at the garage brewery thanks to me! Looks like I snagged this one right before the keg kicked - because it was off the board just mere minutes after I ordered it. Poured a nice really dark ruby color, almost black, wispy head. Aroma was vanilla, woody barrel, some roasted notes. Light roasted malt character. Barrel. Not bad.
