500ml bottle from b&m. Really awful branding on the bottle. Colour is deep brown with a small head. Aroma is nutty with a little grassy. Taste is similar with a hop finish. Philym (1003) - St Neots, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - FEB 21, 2014
Appearance: Clear copper with 2 finger thick ivory head.
Aroma: Toffee/butterscotch, mineral, spicy, rye.
Taste: Medium bitterness and low/medium sweetness with low sourness.
Palate: Thick grainy texture, light body, average carbonation, bitter sweet , slightly dry, spicy, slight butterscotch with burnt/roast malts. Cereal smell and taste I cannot place it could be a combination of barley and Rye.
Comments: Tasty and glass lace. Beth101 (531) - West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 16, 2014
Pours flat. Dark brown with a hint of red. Has an aroma of bread and fruit and has a dark rich fruit flavour. If it had a head it would be a decent beer! Mjp12 (2031) - York, North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 2, 2014
Pretty bland brown ale, thought with the relatively high abv, it might have a decent flavour, but this tastes like a 3.5 abv basic brown. Connor66 (75) - - DEC 29, 2013
Watery beer with little or no taste. No head and no aroma. This is the second beer I have tasted from this company and they are both of the same poor quality.

Bottle. Copper red beer with residual head. Aroma of toffee, malts and a hint of spice. Taste is mild toffee, dry hops, malts and a little spice again. OK beer. ManVsBeer (10953) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 20, 2013
Bottle from B&M. Copper-amber without a head. This ale has a sweet character and a smoothness in its texture, there is a high toffee aroma too. s_hartshorne (2814) - wakefield, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 15, 2013
Bottle rhythm+booze. Light chestnut colour no head. Aroma is roasted malts and dark berries. Taste is roasted malts a bit a smokey. Medium body low carbonation. Not a bad drink like a cheap newcastle brown ale. martinrumsam (586) - BARNSTAPLE, Devon, ENGLAND - NOV 1, 2013
Bottle pours clear coppery brown. Aroma is malty caramel. Sweetish hoppy taste hint of molasses and burnt wood. Smooth but watery mouthfeel. Very thin off white head. For the price it is a reasonable beer. dynamiteninja (1890) - Norfolk, ENGLAND - SEP 15, 2013
Bottle. Murky muddy brown/amber. No head. Nose is malt led with some hops. Oak. Alcohol, chocolate, cherries, fruit. I’m guessing black malt and chocolate malt. Nutty. Some parma violets. Fruity. Mmm, tastes pretty good. Kind of bittersweet, Dry finish. Soft mouthfeel. Slightly oily.
