330 ml bottle. Pours dark brown, with a tinge of red, with a nice capuccino-like off-white head. Aroma and flavour are sweet malty, mildy hopped, with interesting ( I guess wattle) scent. Nice. Fratto (2845) - Arlington, Texas, USA - SEP 17, 2009
Good looking dark beer with thick brown head. Very smooth, tastes pretty good. Radek Kliber (7320) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - SEP 14, 2009
Bottle 330 ml ewestern (257) - Ohio, USA - SEP 13, 2009
Appearance: amber red look with medium light creamy tanned top
Nose: brown malt based with some hop character followed by amber caramel feel. Hint of wood end others elements. 7-
Flavor/Palate : dark dry roast , ash black malt with softer sweeter back up. Toasty dry feel. Drinkable and refreshing. Hint of hickory. Good brew.
Copper beer with an amber tint. No real head to speak of. Some sediment floating around in there. Blended aroma of caramel, grains and hops. Sour tint in the aroma that is nearly offensive. Flavor not as strong as the aroma. Light caramel and toffee, malts and hints of floral and citrus flavors as well. Well blended with none of the "sourness" in the aroma. Smooth and medium bodied, no real carbonation to speak of but the beer does not come across as flat. A nice refreshing beer that hits a good middle road between too light and too heavy. fata2683 (2176) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - SEP 12, 2009
bottle, pours light brown, thin tan head. Aroma is strange, slightly rye, kindof wheaty. Flavor is mellow, with malty body, some carmel and a nice toasty yeast and bread finish. I could drink this all day.

Has a little bit of a toffee aroma. This is quite tsty; some light carmel and toffee and a little mocha coffee as well. Very nice. An excellent finish. asedzie (824) - San Francisco, California, USA - SEP 4, 2009
Bottle. Pours deep brown with thin off-white head. Aroma has mild chocolate, mild sweetness, mild burnt caramel. Flavor is light caramel, mild roastiness, overall spicy with slight herbal, fruity taste throughout. Lingering herbal flavors and very light bitterness in the finish. I liked it very much. williamherbert (1544) - Syracuse, New York, USA - AUG 27, 2009
The appearance is glassy brownish red, like mahogany or cherry. Two big puffyfingers of head. Not bad-looking at all.
The aroma of cooked vegetables with the underbelly of an ale. Cigarette ashes. Bad.
Sweet English-style ale flavor. Brown sugar. English ale yeast. Some toffee and molasses. Like a sweeter version of Bass, but with broiled broccoli.
The feel is a typical chewy ale. The beer is overall not a very good beer. Wattle seeds aren’t great. Has potential but there is something foul and nasty in it. Dervock (1321) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 21, 2009
Bottle - deep amber colour, with a frothy magnolia head. Chocolate and toffee flavours up front, with a roast malt finish. Nicely full bodied. The first Barons beer I had was their lager and did not like it, this has completely redeemed them in my eyes and I will be trying more of theor beers! jonno (2756) - JAPAN - AUG 16, 2009
Really, really didn’t enjoy this. Maybe the Wattle did something to this, but I had trouble finishing it. Smooth, but lots of horrible dark flavours protruding. Next
