Very australian smell, Im guessing its the POR. A nice sweet chocolate with a definant roastiness. Picking up a but of molasses aswell. A very unique palate, soft, round and sweet DerBiermeister (586) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - AUG 1, 2009

Light brown color with a small head and lots of bubbles. Malty, kind of a chocolaty aroma with a sharp woody undertone. Heavy body. Sweet chocolate taste, like a stout, but not dry. Fit an finish are a little rough.

Bottle as shown. Pours a clear amber with a large creamy off white head that lasts awhile leaving behind decent lacing on the glass. The aroma is a caramel malt with chocolate and nuts. Medium mouthfeel and a bit watery on the palate with a roasted malt taste and caramel and chocolate. Easy to drink, a good specialty grain from AIB. ttoadee (1491) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUL 16, 2009
Brown/red color, thin tan head that disappars quickly. Commercial descrition fairly true, carmel more evident that chocolate. Warm on the togue at the finish (spice?, alcohol?) I did not know what to expect with this beer, but what ever Wattle seed is, I do not know that I can detect it in this brew. Still, not bad. Butters (4059) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUN 22, 2009
Bottle at woody’s. Pours a clear light brown with amber highlights and fair light tan head. Not so good at first try, but after this aired out a bit, and is actually quite quaffable. Nose is simple caramel malt. Flavors of burnt malt, toffee, mocha. Ever so slightly metallic and a bit ’old’ tasting. Not a bad brew actually, I’d like to try it fresh. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUN 20, 2009
