Bottled (thanks omhper!, 7.5%, Asia Pacific, Maharashtra). Aroma is fruity, malty, some slight alcohol and quite rubbery. Flavour is alcohol, green apples, some maize and slight hard earthyness.

Pale golden colour with an off-white head of foam. Good malt presence. Fruity, sweet and lightly spiced. Aroma mirrors taste. However, the carbonation and heavy metallic tone to it ruin this ale somewhat. It’s also a little on the sour-dry side. Not really refreshing.

Nice clear golden coloured body with a thinnish slightly off-white head that dies very quickly. Aroma of metal, apricots, strong malt, alcohol and yes - more metal. Medium-bodied; Strong malt presence with a bit of alcohol, some light apricot and peach flavours and a lot more metal and cardboardie malt. Aftertaste has alcohol, but not overly so. More malt and metal, but once again, not horrible. Overall, according to the rankings I was expecting much worse, but wasn’t so bad, and to be perfectly honest, the 8.8% abv was pretty well hidden. I sampled this 323 mL (odd size) can, purchased from 7-11 (yes, they have them everywhere) in Singaore, Singapore 25-August-2007, sampled at home in Washington on 09-March-2009, while this batch (according to the bottom of the can) was brewed on 01-August-2007.

Bottle bought in Delhi. Pale yellow coloured. Unclear. Small off white head. Fruity and sweet in the aroma with a light alcohol touch. Flavour is full of alcohol, grains, fruits and sweetness. Quite thin bodied. dry. Fruity and light alcoholdense end. boring, but drinkable.

(Can 32,3 cl) Courtesy of fiulijn. Clear, deep golden with a dense, off-white head. Sweet aroma of corn and alcohol. Quite full-bodied, notes of sweet brewing cereal, a little corn and some perfumy flower accents. The finish has a raw bitterness and some alcohol. 160408
