Interesting. Quite bitter but not so in order to make it not refreshing. Very nce brewed and some good features. jgb9348 (6250) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAY 12, 2013
Lightish amber coloured body with some light copper tints. Aroma of pale malt, nuts, a touch of earth and very little else - very mild. Light-bodied; Strong soapy malt flavour with some older malt, a non-existant hop flavour and nothing but perhaps some nuts and earth - pretty bad. Aftertaste shows a hint of light caramel and malt - that’s it. Overall, a pretty bad beer - but that was sadly expected. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Harris Teeter in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 03-February-2013 sampled a day later after a hockey game in Arlington, VA. coachk50 (1) - Port Charlotte, USA - MAY 3, 2013 does not count
Not bad. It does not smell all that good, really just an ordinary taste. Won’t be buying anymore. llbjr77 (89) - Largo, Florida, USA - MAR 22, 2013
When first opened, smell of light citrus mixed with light hop. Pours with a nice head. Leaves a nice malty taste and goes down smooth. Will drink again! AR (1000) - Georgia, USA - FEB 10, 2013
Very clear appearance for an amber ale. Mild malts and hops that blend together well. Very sweet.

28 Nov 2012, bottle. dark yellow, clear, steady bubbles. nose is sweet caramel syrup malt and a bit skunky. big, sugary caramel malt. med body, faintly fizzy and a bit syrupy. not that nice. a bit better than cheap caramel syrup but it’s still got that flavor. Amber hue, sweet aroma. Malty flavor with notes of honey and straw. Light and very drinkable. chinchill (4995) - South Carolina, USA - NOV 16, 2012
12 oz bottle of "ale with honey" served in a snifter. Pours clear, a bright copper-amber color, and with 1 cm of white head that quickly reduces despite a good bit of visible carbonation. Smells mainly of caramel with toasted malts.
Taste: toasted caramel malts dominate. Honey seems evident; in any case, this is a bit sweet.
Medium body; medium+ carbonation that is well chosen; slightly dry and very smooth.
O: A pleasant, relatively malty amber with a nice finish. Attractively inexpensive. CasperSpooks (21) - New Jersey, USA - NOV 14, 2012
Pours light amber with thin but creamy head. Light malt aroma. Slightly sweet, hints of honey and citrus with a quick finish; distant cousin of a Belgian Dubbel. Easy intro for non-beer newbies to the craft beer scene. boozedude (2228) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - NOV 8, 2012
Pours light amber, thick white head.. aroma is a sour fruit.. Taste is easy drinking smooth, creamy hard to point out taste.. Not bad for its style
