Hoppy Dank Mango

We’ve built this delicious unfiltered IPA around our favorite hops to bring the dank, mango hop goodness that only Mosaic, Simcoe, and Cascade hops can deliver. We believe an IPA should be balanced like great music. Our award winning harmony of malts and hops is what makes this IPA stand out from the crowd. Put it in your mouth. You can thank us later.

Pours a clear amber from a bottle, faintly edges toward green, tons of lacing. Popping it open, I was immediately hit by a cantaloupe...aroma. Even though no huell melon, lots of jiucy melon, mango, and orange, basically a huge fruit salad. Flavor is similarly juicy and fruity before sliding down a slightly bitter pine slope. Very good beer.

Bottle (22oz). Cloudy Golden (fairly light) with nice white head. Nice citrus hop aroma. Taste is tropical that lasts and finally finishes with a bit of piney bitterness.

Tap at BarrelHouse Brewing Co. Speakeasy in SLO. Nose of overripe citrus fruit, pine, all nice and stinky. Light copper/amber color. Medium=strength caramel, moves to ripe stone fruitiness, moderate bitter finish. Medium body. Okay. Edges on cloying, though.

Bomber from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours coppery gold with a white head. Aroma has tropicals which seem mango - hinting at dank. Malt? Med body. Flavor is dankish - has mango and then pine/citrus and then seems fairly dank. My tongue is hop ridden. Caramel is detectable - this isn’t super dry - but it’s hoppy and bitter. Yummy ale.

A truly underrated IPA. Tropical notes of mango and papaya burst on the nose. Dank pine, juicy grapefruit and subtle mango on the taste.
