2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Draft at Barren Hill. Pours a deep brown with thin beige head. Totally dominated by diacetyl. Very pungent butter/butterscotch notes. Distracts from anything else in the beer. Had to pour it out.

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2014 Deep brown black body, medium sized off-white head, decent lacing. Earthy and citric hops are present in the nose and complement a nice toasted and roasted malt base with a little bit of that rye spice character. Medium bodied, gentle carbonation, moderate bitterness in the finish, a tad astringent.
