Taster at the brewery. Pours a cloudy gold with dense lingering white white and nice soapy lace. Aroma is nutty grain, floral and herbal hops, light yeast ester. Medium light body, bitter, slightly watery, with grainy and hoppy notes. Decent bitter

On tap at Jimmy’s No. 43 with Erica 12.30.2011. Pours golden with white head. Taste is dry bitterness with some floral and medicinal notes. Long legs. Erica didn’t like it much, but I thought it was good.

Druaght from Eastern District in Greenpoint. Kind of a funkadelic taste/aroma. Not my favorite.

Growler from the brewery. Pours a clear light orange with a small white head. Aroma of toasted, bready malts, bitter hops, melon rind, citrus, sweaty hops, and just a hint of floral hops. Flavor is quite bready and toasted up front (slight burnt toast notes as well) with some bitter hops in the finish. Great English bitter and the super low abv makes it easy drinking. 7/4/7/4/15 [3.7/5]

Draft. Stratchy and chalky brew... Finishes with a cool bitter grainy taste. Would be an awesome concept to mix this with a cucumber or something to get more of a cooling finish. Interesting bitter ale, nicely carbonated.
