Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured hazy amber color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Aroma was a medium peppers, sweet malt and alcohol aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet malt and peppers flavor and a medium sweet & hot finish of medium duration. alexsdad06 (10400) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 30, 2015
22 oz bottle shared with Tmoney99 from Nimbleprop. Pours a clear amber color with a fleeting thin off white film. The aroma and flavor are dominated by the peppers, flashes of caramel and malts but too thin for the peepers. Still, not as offensive as some other pepper beers. fiery ruby amber, puffy white head drops to oily cap. Ashy pepper nose, dominating with light bile. Ultra chalky hot front palate, burning through doughy mid, stinging pepper into the finish, acidic and oily, way thin.
22oz bottle I picked up at the brewery pours a hazy amber with some creamy, off white head. Nose has lot chili, pink peppercorns, roasted red bell pepper, lots of tabasco, some apple. Flavor has a ton of spicy heat, like tabasco mixed with amber ale, a little vinegar punch, some apple too. Hope you like heat. radagast83 (8059) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - DEC 6, 2014
22oz bottle. Poured a clear, copper color with a small wispy white head. Aroma was notes of hot pepper, with some light malt notes. Light pepperness, very light, thin notes.

Gimmicky beer. Smells like peppers all the way through. Medium spicy. Pours red with good head and lacing. Some malt. All spice. Bottle. Iphonephan (6987) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - DEC 6, 2014

Pine Box Rock Shop, Brooklyn tap: Pours amber with an 0ff-white head. Aroma is coffee(?), hot pepper, and caramel malt. I have no idea what fruit is in here. In any case, it is spicy, malty, and has some coffee ground feel to it. I am pretty sure it was coffee. In any case, it was good for a pepper beer and was not too spicy. collinmb (66) - - FEB 3, 2014

Sampled at Pony Bar HK with Linh. Initially listed as a "fruit beer" on the menu, but greeted with a ton of spice upon the first sip. Aroma is spice, malt and pepper. Mouthfeel is medium with a decent amount of spice. Ok - a tad bland/one-dimensional, but not my personal preference.
