Draft at Bier and Cheese, Astoria, NYC. Darker orange-lemon, small head. Musty, dank aroma of yeast. Lemony up front, some coriander spice, and a musty smoke aftertaste. I didn’t find it as bad or as good as many others here. yespr (47380) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - DEC 20, 2014
From tap. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is Mild smoked, light fruity and toasted malty. Lingering burned note into a mellow and light fruity finish. Not sure about the match between smoke and saison. callmemickey (4561) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 1, 2014
Lightly hazy pale yellow body, medium to thin white head, spotty lacing. Light smoke, grainy cereals, and a touch of citrus in the nose. Flavor gets a bit weird as the smoke takes on more of a burnt rubber character that is fairly distracting. Medium to light bodied with moderate to gentle carbonation, lingering chemically/burnt finish.

Miles, Brooklyn tap ($6): Pours cloudy pale yellow with white head. Aroma is fruit, a slight hint of smoke, and yeast. Taste is slightly sweet and ever so slightly smoky. The beer has a nice a full body. Nice yeasty Belgian elements. Extremely well put together. epeter85 (54) - - JUN 4, 2014
Hazy yellow pour from the tap. Very subtle aroma. Appearance is quite nice and fruity rich. Taste is watery, slight yeast, slight sweetness. A good beer to drink after a bike ride.

Growler from a keg at Beer Table Pantry, NYC. Pours hazy, pale yellow with a frothy white head. The nose has crispy white, subtle yeast. Light sweet flavor with lightly dried wheat, hints of yeasty bread, very mellow smoke notes, maybe touches of lemon rind. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Super clean and refreshing on the finish with more dry wheat, faint smoke, citrus rind, faint bitter hay. Lovely beer. Well balanced and super drinkable. bob_w (378) - new york, New York, USA - SEP 13, 2013
discernible peat smoke aroma. hazy pale straw yellow color. no head. assertive peat smoked malt flavor but, thankfully, not over done. mild malt underneath. but the peat smoked malt dominates. Maverick34 (3303) - New York, USA - JUL 15, 2013
