Pours clearer amber with a small tan head. Aroma and flavor both bring ginger, squash, and some earthy sweetness enjoyed on the palate. Peppercorns are not all there, which may be good. Theydon_Bois (19200) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - DEC 13, 2013

Sample at the brewery. Pours a clean amber with medium, diminishing off-white head and soapy lace. Nose of spice - ginger, pepper, and a floral lavender like aroma. Medium body with a slightly creamy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Taste is dominated by spice as well and follows suit with the aroma with a slightly pepper spice kick. ben4321 (6416) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - NOV 24, 2013

Palate: The body is medium, it has a nice mouthfeel, and a good dryness to the finish
This one is a very very cool experiment and a really enjoyable beer. I’m not sure I would have guessed that butternut squash, lots of seasonal spices, and hops would make for a great beer combination, but. It totally does. Bonus point for excellent creativity. Nicely done!
An orange amber ale with a thick mocha head. In aroma, light caramel malt with smooth pumpkin spices, ginger, cinnamon and cloves, restrained. In mouth, caramel malt with good mix of spices, nutty roasted notes, well done. On tap at Brooklyn Pour 2013. Slipstream (2612) - USA - NOV 29, 2012
Now here is something creative! On draft at The Pony Bar. I wasn’t sure Saaz hops and squash would be a good mix, but this works out pretty well. The pleasant sweetness is offset by sharp Czech hops and a peppy mouthfeel. Is that a bit of clove in there? A bit odd, but good. Brewed with ginger, honey, and Chinese pepper too. tgncc (3130) - Bellmore, New York, USA - NOV 7, 2011
Interesting experiment, if not a total home run. The aroma is VERY spicy, ginger and pumpkin spices mainly, some vegetable matter. The appearance is a hazy gold/amber color, white head. the flavor is dominated by the same pumkin pie spices, and again some sort of cooked vegetables. The finish is VERY spicy once again, some pine and floral hops. Medium in body. Drinkable, and enjoyable.
