Cask in the Sweffling White Horse, Suffolk. Pours a pale straw colour, slightly hazy with a slight green tinge. A lights layer of off white suds on top. No aroma to speak of. The taste is bitter with non-descript herbal notes. Some grass and citrus too. BlackHaddock (7674) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2014
Hand-pulled half-pint at The Crown Inn, Oakengates on 1st May 2014, one of thirty four hand-pulls to choose from. Sorry to say this was the least interesting beer of the nine I tried during the session. Clear body of pale gold, on top a white head. Slightly fruity in nature with a dry finish, but overall a boring blend of not much. downender (8882) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - AUG 11, 2013
Cask-conditioned at the Bristol Beer Emporium, 5/8/2013. Golden with a slight white head. Aroma of coriander, citrus hops and cereal mlats. Flavour had some solid mlats, before more fruit and a dryish finish. Fine. mr_h (5943) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - MAY 27, 2013

Gravicask (CWAF2013, Thurs)Garrat (1347) - Suffolk, ENGLAND - FEB 3, 2008
Light uplifting aroma, good aromatic hops. Hint of mushroom here too, alas. Refreshing palate, with subtle, but nice, hopping. Fairly pale, small spongy head. Grainy finish. Refreshing bitter.
Bottle.Light orange in colour with a small head, aroma of lemon and apple taste is of pine and citric with a dry bitter finish. chriso (21656) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 8, 2006
Cask (gravity dispense), Reading Beer Festival, April 2006. A weaker version of the, not very strong, Green Man from the same brewery. Pale colour. Dodgy, dull malt aroma. A bit stagnant. Dull flavour too. Just a touch of spicy hop redeems things, but not a lot. Didn’t get any coriander. Dull all round. Questionable condition?

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Reading BF. Oh my God, this was truly awful. The aroma is syrupy sweet with notes of straw and vomit. The taste is just foul and nasty. Sickly and very very bad. Oh and by the way it’s golden. Joeh (2049) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2006
Cask Conditioned at Reading BF 2006. Golden. Nasty buttery and sugary aroma. Sweet malt and a touch of spice.
