UPDATED: JAN 29, 2018 alot of bitter malt and very much a typical stout. disappointing to say the least Ron (4292) - Rochester, New York, USA - JAN 28, 2018
Can. Black pour with some head that faded quickly. Aroma was roasted malt, chocolate and some smoke. Taste was dominated by the roast with a bit of sweetness, coffee and smoke that leaves a bitter finish. jb (3481) - Rochester, New York, USA - JAN 20, 2018
Very dark, thick head, spotty lacing. Gritty nose and taste, malted, toasted and roasted. More of a straight stout than sweet, maybe a tad of lactose towards the back. Thin. Okay. chinchill (5450) - South Carolina, USA - DEC 31, 2017
22 oz aluminum :) bottle from Portland.
Pours with a clear but nearly opaque body topped by a short and short-lived head.
Aroma: hints of coffee, chocolate, dark fruits and nut liqueur.
Flavor: lots of chocolate; bitter-sweet with a nice touch of dryness in the finish.
Overall: Recommended. Realarte (1) - - DEC 24, 2017 does not count

On tap at Rogue Wetbar on W Broadway in Vancouver. A black beer with a moderate tan head and a faint cocoa nose. In the mouth the predominant impression is of cocoa, then slightly of coffee. Some background bitterness. 3.4 patricks110 (2834) - Alberta, CANADA - NOV 27, 2017
A pretty decent beer overall. Pours a pure black with a finger of dense beige head that leaves quite a bit of lacing. The nose is robust, smoky, chocolate and vanilla notes. Rich but quite sweet with a nice chocolate malt base; a pinch of smoke and light espresso notes. Heavy, oily body with a moderate bitterness on the finish. Good but a bit sweet for me. 12 oz can. Pours black with full head. Aromas of chalky chocolate and dry roasted malts. Tinny flavours follow same. Maybe a bit of smoke. Can’t get any s’mores. Block (3222) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - NOV 12, 2017
Tasted at the 2017 Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado. Good flavors, close to style, as expected without too many surprises. bdleedahl (712) - , Saskatchewan, CANADA - OCT 6, 2017
Nice beer, sweet and the added marshmellow adds a sweetness. Base camp brewing
