22 oz aluminum :) bottle from Portland. Pours with a clear but nearly opaque body topped by a short and short-lived head. Aroma: hints of coffee, chocolate, dark fruits and nut liqueur. Flavor: lots of chocolate; bitter-sweet with a nice touch of dryness in the finish. Overall: Recommended.

On tap at Rogue Wetbar on W Broadway in Vancouver. A black beer with a moderate tan head and a faint cocoa nose. In the mouth the predominant impression is of cocoa, then slightly of coffee. Some background bitterness. 3.4

A pretty decent beer overall. Pours a pure black with a finger of dense beige head that leaves quite a bit of lacing. The nose is robust, smoky, chocolate and vanilla notes. Rich but quite sweet with a nice chocolate malt base; a pinch of smoke and light espresso notes. Heavy, oily body with a moderate bitterness on the finish. Good but a bit sweet for me.

12 oz can. Pours black with full head. Aromas of chalky chocolate and dry roasted malts. Tinny flavours follow same. Maybe a bit of smoke. Can’t get any s’mores.

Tasted at the 2017 Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado. Good flavors, close to style, as expected without too many surprises.

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt with dark chocolate. Flavor is dark chocolate and coffee with roasted malt. Dark roasted bitter finish. Creamy mouth feel. Great stout but confused about the s'mores aspect of it. No marshmallow or vanilla flavors.

Very dark brown color with a creamy tan colored head of foam. Rich and smooth cocoa with a deft touch of smoke. I was expecting the marshmallow flavor like in some other examples of a "S’more" stout so maybe just a bit of a letdown there. Otherwise a very well-made beer.

Pours reasonably dark brown with a nice looking mocha head. It’s hard to tell since this beer is relatively dark, but it looks pretty clear when it pours. Aroma is sweet and malty with toffy and caramel. Flavor of dark chocolate, licorice and a hint of bitterness at the end. This is a taste stout. Given that there don’t seem to be that many stouts in Montana, this beer is pretty delicious and I’m excited to get it this time of year. Good beer.
