Bottled 500ml. -Trade with Allen (thanks Julian!). Murky orange coloured, small white head, fruity nose. Sweetish malty, perfumed hoppy and fruity with notes of tangerine in the finish. Marko (5694) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - JUN 1, 2010
Bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado who got it in a trade with Allen (thanks!)bierkoning (13352) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - APR 29, 2010
Poured a lovely dark apricot-orange body with a nice white head. Light fruity agrumey hoppy nose, soft and a remarkably pleasant surprise. The taste, however, fails to follow on the aroma’s promise. It does try, remaining pefumey and somewhat hoppy, but it adds some beety notes, and while pleasant, it isn’t as thrilling as it should’ve been. It tastes like the pils should’ve tasted I guess (at least that’s what I wrote not knowing it was an ale).
Bottle from Allen, thanks! Light amber color, cloudy. Soft fruitaroma ith yeasty notes. pear, tangerine and yeast in teh flavor. Fairly low on aroma and flavor. Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - APR 3, 2010
bottle, vielen Dank an Allen! Cloudy deep golden colour with a small white head. Fruity nose. Malty, hints of honey and caramel, slightly fruity (mango) with a rather shy touch of bitter hops in the finish. Not as hoppy as the usual Alt, a nice interpretation of the style. Bottled, thanks Bov! Hazy amber, minimal head. Floral nose with dough and grass. Dryish with light body and fairly clean mouthfeel. Bread and grass, notes of strawberry and hay. Medium bitterness. A relaxed mildly flavourful beer. Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - SEP 18, 2009
from baesibraeu.ch - cloudy copper colour with a little persistent foam; some malty and earthy tones with notes of diacetyl; initial sweetness with a sharp and astringent tartness, medium-bodied; vegetal aftertaste with more notes of diacetyl - not terrible
