Don’t feel like drinking stout. Soft coffee and bailey, mild taste, rather slimy, smooth though. Still below average.
I’ve had this several times in my life and feel compelled to finally say something.
Always had in a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice dark brown close to black sort of color. The head was a decent looking off-white color. There was a decent fading sort of lacing.
The smell had a roasted almost burnt sort of caramel coming through exceptionally dry and toasted-like.
The taste, well, its kinda roasty and burnt-like, its pretty dry - I can tell ya that.
The palate sits about a light to medium in body with a fairly sessionable aspect to it. The carbonation seems to be fairly smooth.

Rated on 4-17-2014 (Bottle) This beer pours a large smooth tan head that mostly diminishes, mostly opaque dark brown with a red tint body and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is roasted, dark malt, chocolate, light coffee, and a bit earthy. The taste is lightly bitter, roasted malt, chocolate, and earthy. The mouthfeel is clean and thin. This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized light brown colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque dark black brown colored body and an excellent lacing. The mild aroma was brown malt. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a mild mild roasted malt aftertaste. mild roasted smell, taste is similar...very mild stout...good, but not much to rate because of mildness

From the 355 ml. bottle stamped 15155BF53. The pour is a dark chestnut brown color with ruby hues and a short-lived off-white head that fizzles down to a ring. The aroma includes dark and caramel malts, brown sugar, molasses and a touch of baked chocolate. The body is thin. Pours a black color with a tan head that faded quickly to a few spots of lacing. Aroma of roasted malt chocolate with trace of coffee in the background. Tatse of roasted malt, chocolate and a bit of coffee in the background. Decent stout bitterness and fairly dry finish with just a bit of lingering bitterness. 12oz bottle - pours black with beige head. Nose is roast and caramel. Sip adds coffee/dark chocolate. Light bitterness and light to medium light body. Near black pour with thin khaki head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, dark bread. Taste is watered down coffee. This kind of reminds me of Guinness.
