Nitro at Iron Horse tap room. Reverse cascade nitro head. Dense and creamy. Muted mild coffee nose. Taste surprisingly decent. Lactic, dense, dairy, low bitterness, mild semisweet chocolate. No off flavors just a tad weak for Irish dry stout. Sessionable and clean.

Aurelius (5335) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - APR 18, 2013
Soft, nutty roast aroma with ale overtones. Good packaging, inky beer, an almost purple tan head. Dry, lightly acidic roast flavor, slight nuttiness. Medium-light body, frothy mouthfeel. Sessionable, but it won’t put hair on your chest. ABC, Betton.

On tap at MacGregor’s. I came her today for the Stone W00t Stout that was listed on their website and ended up with this. Disapointment! It looked like a Guinness nitro pour. Light stout taste with small amount of chocolate and roast. It was ok.

mild roasted smell, taste is similar...very mild stout...good, but not much to rate because of mildness

badgerben (5177) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - MAR 31, 2014
Dark brown/ruby color with a small head. Light roast, some fruitiness in the aroma, maybe banana. Mild chocolate and roast flavor. A bit metallic.

sawbuck (732) - Round Lake, Illinois, USA - JAN 7, 2013
Bready coffee aroma. Pitch black, watery appearance. First taste is bitter coffee, roasted malt. Finishes with a nice combo of sweet and bitter. More flavor than expected.

nearbeer (5417) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 19, 2013
12 oz. Opaque with a covering of sticky foam. Mild nose of coffee, char, caramel and a dash of orange zest. Taste is caramel apple, sour berry, bittersweet chocolate, with a touch of char on the finish. Medium body is soft and well balanced, but is a tad too fizzy with medium-high carbonation.

Patrickctenchi (6587) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - DEC 8, 2012
Nearly black, red backlights with a thick, greyish, tan head. Scent is cola, chocolate....light smoke. Taste is fairly simple fare.....dark chocolate over coffee and cola. Watery and light, but not bad.

Bottle.Chocolate and light coffee aroma. Black with a moderate tan head. Watery chocolate, barley malt, and roasty flavor. Light side of medium body, lively carbonation. Rather easy drinking.

PorterPounder (7965) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAR 23, 2013
Tallahassee, Fl. - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - 12 oz bottle - part of a St Patick;s Day gimmicky mix pack with Bass Ale. Dark brown, cola-like pour with redddish tints, quickly diminishing off-white head. Aroma has some faint cereal notes, a hint of fresh lake water. Flavor has some earthy tones, light licorice, some potting soil, a touch of black coffee. Mouthfeel is thick enough, could be a tad chalkier. Decent.
