UPDATED: DEC 9, 2016 Tap at the brewery. Big beige head. Hazy ruby-brown colour. Aroma medium coffee, light roasted. Taste medium coffee, light roasted. Finish roasted. Mouthfeel a bit ashy, finish is long and a bit tart. In my opinion overally overrated. 2.8 Rerate at the brewery. Well attenuated, clean fermentation, very nicely balanced. Easy drinking. Great polotmavy

Tap (Basta, Prague) as "Polotmavy Lezak"
Sweetich caramelly aroma. Toffe and roasty taste, almost mocha-like. Medium palate, pleasant carbonation. Nice easy drinker, not too sweet. Solid polotmavy.

Cloudy copper with little beige head. Aroma is butter, nuts, smoke? Taste is more nuts and butter, good mixed bitter and sweet. Really smooth mouthfeel, buttery again. Not too heavy and not at all phenolic. Nice. The butter is of the good kind this time.

Tap (Basta, Prague). Hazy chestnut color. Huge size, thick beige head, stays. looks nice. Sweet, grainy and shy hops in aroma. Sweet, grains, tiny bit of honey, humble roast in taste. Roast and grainy in aftertaste. Nice bitterness. One of the best Polotmavy’s I’ve ever had! Excellent brew!

Look; fawn head, dark copper body. Aroma; fruits, wort, malts, caramel. Taste; fruits, malts, modest peels - and finishes fruity dry-peelish. Palate; normal body, somewhat dry. Overall; nice polotmavy, no doubt about that. Tasted at Basta of course.

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2017 Deep amber, pillowy tan head. Aroma toffee, cereal notes. Palate medium, low carbonation. Taste forest honey, caramel, light lingering roastiness in finish. Dry ending. Very nice. Re-rated 31Jan2017 : Virtually the same beer but palate even fuller and creamier than I remember the last time. Pleasure to look at and drink, very fine lager this is.
