Poured a slightly hazy dark amber with a full off white head. Aroma of soft caramel malt and liquorice. Medium body, flavour as the aroma.

Svesse (8830) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - SEP 12, 2011
(Draught at Pivovar Basta, Prague, 28 July 2011) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with roasted grain, toast, dark bread and wort. Malty taste with notes of toast, dark bread, orange peel, wort, raisins and a spicy bitterness. More than medium body, with some malt sweetness. Well balanced and very nice.

Draught at the brewpub.
Almost black with dark-ish head. Light cocoa coffee and bit plummy in aroma. Sticky sweet chocolate flavour along with phenols. Low bitterness. Softish mouthfeel.

Oakes (19027) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 1, 2011
Hazy dark amber. Thick head. Yeasty aroma with light saaz. Fresh creamy and yeasty; tasty and moreish, despite its simplicity.

Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 11, 2011
Draft @ brewpub. Looks very similar to the light one, just a touch darker...hazy and unfiltered. This is more noticeably yeasty than the light, and toastier in the finish. Throughout is a very fresh, malty body and high mineral content. Unsophisticated and fun.

Dedollewaitor (16419) - Odense, DENMARK - APR 9, 2010
Tap @ Basta, Prague. Pours dark unclear ruby brown with a large creamy lasting white head and lacings. Looks amazing. Nose is caramel and liquorice. Flavor is phat and chewy malty. Caramel, liquorice and bread. Smooth like velvet and vaguely sticky. What a tremendous dunkel!
