Pours a pale yellow with no foam head. Aroma is grassy hops and bread malts. Flavor is grassy and spiced hops along with the bread malts. Has a touch of bitterness. I enjoyed this. It was the best of the flight, surprisingly. arminjewell (9689) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - OCT 2, 2014
Pour on tap at the brewery, clear straw yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of grass, spicy hops, some yeast in there with a hint of cracker, cereal type notes as well. Taste is a mix of grass, honey, dough into some cracker, cereal, grainy notes, some spice, finishing dry. firstsip (733) - Michigan, USA - SEP 7, 2013
More like a mild pale ale than a pilsner... but then, I don’t like pilsners, so that works. Slight pepper taste. Mildly dry-hopped. Minimal head. Yellow. jsquire (4537) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - APR 6, 2013
Yellow gold color out of the tap with a thin white head. Light nose with some lemon notes. This is a good house beer to sell to people who do not know beer. There is a thin white sugar sweetness with some cracker and a lemon citrus flavor. Very lively on the tongue. Refreshing if standard brewpub pilsner. crossovert (13414) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 22, 2012
A bit too much diacetly here. No maltiness, not much hops, just kinda bland but not terible.

On tap at Bastone Restaurant/Brewpub. Clear straw yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of pale malts, some noble hops and light corn. Taste is moderately hopped with noble hops, pale malt and not much else. chibuck (3513) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 22, 2011
draft... surprise star of the tasting, a really fresh, easy to drink and flavorful pils that is a must try Dogbrick (13389) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 26, 2011
Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear yellow-gold color with a medium thin white head that recedes quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops and grainy malt. Light body with flavors of mildly spicy hops, sweet malt and a bit of fruit. The finish is grassy and hoppy with a short mildly bitter aftertaste. Slightly above average overall. doubelknv3 (1093) - Illinois, USA - SEP 14, 2008
Golden with lasting white head. Biscuit, floral, and grass aroma notes. Citrus, biscuit, and sweet malt balance. Carbonated with dry, bitter finish. thedm (6279) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - NOV 14, 2006
This bottled brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that was long lasting and left behind a transparent uncarbonated light yellow colored body and an excellent lacing. The weak aroma was malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt hops and mild astringency. An OK brew just nothing special.
