UPDATED: OCT 31, 2017 Taster, on tap at The Union Hotel, Newtown. Pours a muddish brown with a beige head. Aroma: coconut, nuts, malt, mild bitter cocoa. Taste: coconut, mild nuttiness, roasted malt, dark chocolate flavours. Interesting flavour balance. Medium bodied. Mild to moderate carbonation. Moderate sweetness, followed by mild bitterness. This was quite pleasant and enjoyable, but I found it a little hard to drink towards the end. Still quite tasty. M_Sack (807) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JUN 4, 2017
Tap @ the brewery. Cherry Ripe in a glass. Coconut, hints of cherry and dark chocolate combined into a classic brown ale - light mouthfeel, not particularly complex. Quite sweet for my palate, but an enjoyable beer. jonas (8530) - Garching close to the monks, GERMANY - APR 27, 2017

640ml bottle into pint glass. Deep murky red/brown beer with solid tan head. Faint nose, some pepper and coconut. Full-bodied and sweet. Touch of cream. Finish is lightly smoked and bitter, right at the end the sweet coconut re-appears. Good balance. Nice quaffer, delicious and understated. Medium brown. Fairly nutty nose. Sweetish, balanced with a slightly dry finish.

Hazy to cloudy brown color, tan head with lacing. Malty, roasted, grainy taste. Medium light mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Malty, mineral, slight cream scent.
on tap at the brewery, part of a sample tray of jars. dark brown with a thin beige head; sure enough, loads of coconut in the nose, lamingtons; strange malibu edge to an otherwise standard brown ale, modest bitterness, hints of toffee; wasn’t enjoying this by the end of the jar Patersoi (192) - AUSTRALIA - SEP 25, 2015
Pours mid brown with creamy head that lingers. Not much bouquet but the first taste reveals the coconut and chocolate in perfect harmony. Creamy mouth feel delivers the bounty bar effect. Long creamy finish.
