these guys are still getting things sorted out with some of their other beers but this one shows what they can do. fluorescent fruity aroma, pale, nice lacing. light sao level malt toastiness with bit of a slick of carapils; some nice minerally/fruity aleyness; sharp, tingly bitterness with grapefruit, hopsack, vanilla and nice low level malt returning in finish. id drink this over LCPA or SNPA anytime - but it is a bit of a mystery why their beers are so expensive with the minimal packaging and distribution costs they have...

Poured from a growler, straight from the brewery. Slightly hazy straw colour. Moderate hoppy aroma. Taste is very well balanced with the hops and malt. Not too sweet, good amount of bitter. Definitely nothing out of the ordinary here, but this is a good go-to beer for a hot afternoon. Im really loving the beers these guys are putting out.

Draught at the brewery. Pours a hazy amber, with a moderate off-white head, which lasts well and leaves decent lacing. The aroma offers herbal and citrus hops and a little caramel malt. Citrus and pine hops up front, with a good malt backbone and a refreshing pine finish. A decent APA.

Tap at The Australian Hotel - low malt medium hopped APA - easy drinker - lovely floral aftertaste - not a world-beater but a very good drink indeed.

good interpretation of a american style pale ale. Bit of hop in there. A staple brew from these guys and definitely worth having a few at the brewery.

On tap at Batch, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out floral hops and gentle biscuity malt. Flavour is similar, with lots of floral and citrus hops upfront, backed with just enough biscuity malt. Simple, no nonsense pale that is brewed very well. Nice one.

Dredd (863) - Bentleigh, AUSTRALIA - APR 26, 2016
Pleasant beer, tropical fruit aroma. Perhaps a hint of mango. Colour is light amber with thin white head. Palate is initially overwhelmed by the piney hop notes. After a few more sips, some of the malt and citrus notes come through. However, it is a bit over the top for an apa.
