Cask Pint at Wibbas Down (JDW), Wimbledon, London in April 2014 - Very Dark Brown in colour with Reddish tinge. Decent head. Some lacing. Malty; roasty malts, chocolate, hint of coffee, some caramel/toffee, slightly nutty. Fruity; slight dark fruits. Hoppy; spicy peppery hops. Sweetish roast malty spicy fruity throughout. Cask at the Columbia Press (JDW), Watford on 31 March 2014. Poured a dark, bright ruby with a dense, creamy head. Aroma of berries, cinnamon and brown bread. Toasted bread flavours, with notes of chewy malt and orange. Finish was light grassy hop, toffee and burnt malt. Cask at the Britannia JDW, Blackheath. Pours deep brown with a medium head. Aroma is beefy yeast. Taste has beefy coffee to start and a beefy yeast finish.

Cask conditioned handpump High Cross Leicester 03/04/14. A dark brown coloured beer with a whitish head and lace. I like this. Nice dark malts and a bit of smokiness. Cask @ Lord Moon of the Mall, JDW, Whitehall SW1. Pours a clear amber brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty toasted caramel aroma. Slightly roasted malty caramel flavor with hoppy bitter hints. Has a roasted malty bitter hoppy caramel finish. Don2711 (485) - - APR 9, 2014

Cask, The Highcross, Leicester. Dark mahogany with a cream foam. Aromas are weetabix and chocolate with nutty notes. Mixed berries with fudge and lemon. Flavours are stewed autumn fruit with berries. Cask conditioned at the Ralph Fitz Randal (JDW), Richmond. Thin tan head. Chestnut to mahogany body. Meat, toffee, caramel, black malt, vanilla, butterscotch, some red fruit, hint of sulphur. Bitter. Dry finish. Excellent lacing.
