Combined Harvest is a unique combination of brewing worts, or extracts from a variety of cereals. Most premium ales are brewed only using malted barley, but this multigrained beer has a unique multigrain blend of malted barley, oats, rye and wheat. Grainy tasting with a delightful floral start and finish.

Hazy golden colour with small frothy slight off-white foam. Aromas in a way remind of morning bad breath and old cereals, oats and maybe musky malts with a touch of biscuit. Palate, medium/light body with smooth texture leaving that same old grains dry finish. Taste, sweet of grains and malt with notes of biscuit and musky oats in a way with a touch of bittering hops. Overall, not the best, was hoping more from it but, just really don't like the taste and smell of it...

500 ml bottle bought at YATA in V City, Tuen Mun.

Translucent light amber honey colour with a thin trace of yeast sediments; One and a half finger head with crumpety white foam which last for 3 minutes; Excellent sticky lacing with fizzy carbonation; Very fragrant and sweet aroma of Ale malt, with caramel, toasted almond, strong cherry, floral, sugar, spices, strong dry biscuits and light grass; Medium to light sweet taste of Ale malt, with almond, wheaty tartness, light caramel, red fruits, floral, light molasses, light spices, biscuits, lemon, light bitter hops and grass; Mid to light body. Fairly slick palate; Mouth Feel is fair Ale maltyness in a wheat-thinned background. Body is light, with prevailing almond and red fruits but caramel is light. Flowery with light sweetness and spicyness, biscuity with lemon to round. Fairly decent... Hoppiness is floral, spices and light grass in nose; Lemon, floral, light spices, and grass in taste; Bitterness is fair to light for a lasting, low astringent nutty fair malty finish; Quite dry after taste. Almond, fruity and light bitter to mouth.

Comments: It has oats, wheat and rye in the mix, but it seems the wheatyness calls the shots and there's not much oat smoothness, and the rye spicyness is moderate to say the least. Its almond-nutty character is pretty charming, but overall it's on the light side for a ESB. So so.

Dark golden to amber in color. Small, but stable light beige head. Interesting scent of light fruit syrup and pale floor malt. Hints of toasted malt, biscuits and herbal hops. Sweet malt and grains in the front. Touch of caramel. Floral hops work their way in. Too much like a scone from my tastes. 1/11

UPDATED: MAY 31, 2016 500 ml clear bottle, bought in London. ABV is 4.7%. Clear deep golden colour, large white head. Aroma of toffee and malts, hints of nuts. Smooth mouthfeel. The flavour has a moderate fruitiness which makes the beer very drinkable, again notes of toffee, malts and nuts. Some very moderate hops in the finish - would like some more hops, please.

500ml bottle from Ken Warne grocery store, Darlington. Pours an amber colour with an off-white foam head. Aroma of grains, grassy, slightly metallic hop. Taste is grainy, rye, bready, sweetish with some biscuit and grassy bitterness. Light to medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry tangy grassy bitter finish. OK.
