part of my 2013 backlog, tried at the Victoria Lincoln. Amber colour with small white head. Aroma and taste have a touch of malt, caramel, nuts with a nice bitter sweet finish. rlgk (18850) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 15, 2012
Cask at Market Porter, London. Amber beer with a beige head. Weak malty aroma. Malty flavor, marcipan and some spicy notes. justm (164) - Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 3, 2012
Cask at the Coach & Horses, Billericay. Pours a lovely amber with a thin but sustained off-white head. Good lacing down the glass. Aroma is slightly malty and a faint burnt sugar smell. Palate is medium bitter, with a little buttery-ness. Taste is faint caramel malt, quite watery with a rubber aftertaste which is a little unpleasant. Quite a bland session bitter, not sure what makes it festive other than the pump clip! madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - DEC 30, 2010

Pigs Ear. Clear brown beer. No real head. Lihgt dry palate. Sweet malt, sweet bubblegum and a hint of spice. Sweet malt finish. A bit messy.
’Celebrating the Christmas Season’ it says, and in true Bateman’s style, this involves a picture of a plump lady showing her bottom. Fnarr. I preferred the simpler more innocent days of the Signs of the Zodiac series. Amber with a white head. Sweet butterscotch malt aroma. Big oily malt taste with bread and sweetness. Mid bitter finish. Nearly there. fonefan (49341) - VestJylland, DENMARK - DEC 8, 2010

Cask gravity at Pigs Ear 2010. Amber no head and no condition. Some Bateman appley yeast. Ok if a bit of green apple.
