Cask in the bree louise. Alround rating: Appley sweet pale malt, quite minerally, dusty yeast, no hops to be seen. Poor conditon im reconing. hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 28, 2009
Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Copper gold with a small white head. Sweet, buttery, creamy caramel aroma. Taste has the same intense caramel maltiness: agricultural and old-fashioned, dusty like a windmill. Anything less South African would be hard to imagine. Mid bitter finish. I found the pumpclip extremely offensive and unfunny. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - JUN 24, 2009

Cask at the George, Southwark. Amber with a thin white head; leafy hop aroma; light citrus flavour with some yeast and biscuity malts; sharp grapefruit bitterness to finish. A well-hopped pint.
