One of England’s most popular seasonal beers. A full bodied copper colour beer brewed with Maris Otter malts and English hops. The aroma is rich and fruity. Goes well with poultry dishes.

Disappointed; the whole experience was lacklustre, uninspiring and pretty characterless. Dark ruby brown, a half finger fine light beige head that disappeared almost instantly. Restrained yeast and berries in the ho-hum nose. Lustreless thin mouthfeel. There is some banal fruitiness but the whole taste experience is bland, unsatisfying and certainly no Christmas cheer.

OK, med meget ordinær engelsk øl. Fin frugtagtig aroma. Tilpas bitter. Savner noget fylde

500ml bottle. Clear, red-brown colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Sweet-ish, fruity malty and hoppy aroma, hints of cherry and red berries, a background-ish touch of toffee. Taste is sweet-ish malty, notes of toffee, fruity overtones with hints of cherry and red berries. Nice.

Clear, brown pour with beige foam. Rich, cereal malty nose with touches of spice. Medium body, moderate carbonation and slightly slippery. The malts are rich, complex and balance the hops well. There are touches of spice and a bit of dryness, but the after taste remains fruity.
