shigadeyo (3764) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 30, 2014
Sugary aroma of fig and plum laced with plenty of honey. Nice amber color with a minimal off white crown. Malty and moderately rich, lots of vanilla/tannin, dry finish with a mild earthy and herbal hoppiness. Slightly oxidized, but works well for this particular beer. Medium light body, smooth. This is a pleasing beer overall.

asedzie (831) - San Francisco, California, USA - DEC 17, 2014
Bottle Pours deep ruby brown with off white head, some lacing. Nose has bready malt, caramel, fresh dough with some light touches of lemon and herb - mild aroma. Flavor is light for the style, with raisins and wood, some light toasted notes, followed by a smooth flush of hoppiness that has herbs and subdued orange peel. Nice tangy lightly bitter lingering hops in the finish kicks this up an extra point.

3.3
gizmo_ber (190) - Steinwenden, GERMANY - DEC 17, 2014
Pour is copper/red with minimal head. Taste is malty with hint of raisin and fruit. Light bitterness. Not bad, not overly christmassy.
