bnokk (548) - Lee, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 8, 2015
APPEARANCE - great dark amber color. White head leaves the glass too soon.
NOSE - strong malty overtones. Perhaps some fruitiness.
FLAVOR - Excellent malty brew, with hints of vanilla.
NOTES - Another refreshing Xmas ale due to its lack of too much spice. American Christmas Beer Makers, take note.

Bottle. Clear amber pour with a quickly dissipating carbonated head. Malty, fruity, some brown sugar and a hint of chocolate/coffee. Okay.

larsga (7668) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 15, 2015
Big offwhite head. Clear deep brownish red body. Roasty
caramelly cinnamon aroma with perfumy caramel and vanilla notes.
Sweetish fruity perfumy caramel taste with metallic notes.
Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel with low carbonation. Dryish
caramelly metallic fruity aftertaste with metallic wooden vanilla
notes. It’s not bad, but a bit perfumy and artificial. (0.5l
bottle, I forget where from.)

shigadeyo (3796) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 30, 2014
Sugary aroma of fig and plum laced with plenty of honey. Nice amber color with a minimal off white crown. Malty and moderately rich, lots of vanilla/tannin, dry finish with a mild earthy and herbal hoppiness. Slightly oxidized, but works well for this particular beer. Medium light body, smooth. This is a pleasing beer overall.
