Sugary aroma of fig and plum laced with plenty of honey. Nice amber color with a minimal off white crown. Malty and moderately rich, lots of vanilla/tannin, dry finish with a mild earthy and herbal hoppiness. Slightly oxidized, but works well for this particular beer. Medium light body, smooth. This is a pleasing beer overall. joe19612 (3101) - camberley, Surrey, ENGLAND - DEC 28, 2014
