Amber with a thin white head. Aroma is a little musty, but mostly malt. Flavor is light, mostly malt and a little thin in body. Not bad, definitely about standard for the style, good for a session.

Slightly sweet with mild malt flavours. Doesnt capture any of the magic a bitter has on cask. Just toasted malts with sweet caramel making a mild but quaffable brew! Grumbo (4262) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - OCT 22, 2017

500ml bottle from Ken Warne grocery store, Darlington. Coppery amber colour, tan foam head and aroma of malt, toffee, caramel. Taste is roasty malt, doughy bready, some caramel, fruity and grassy earthy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy malty bitter finish. Quite drinkable. Bottle at home. Clear amber pour, almost no head. Aroma of spicy malts, licorice, aged hops, honey and some stophoest. Flavor is quite bitter malty, spicy, thick body and smooth. Quite dry.
