danlo (3178) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - JAN 14, 2016
500ml bottle from Ken Warne grocery store, Darlington. Coppery amber colour, tan foam head and aroma of malt, toffee, caramel. Taste is roasty malt, doughy bready, some caramel, fruity and grassy earthy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy malty bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

gripweed57 (2794) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - JUL 24, 2015
500 ml bottle. Deep copper color with a small frothy beige head with clinging lace. Toasted malt nose has a sharp fruity character. Upfront, more fruity malt with notes of plums and Demerara sugar. Slightly spicy hops in midtaste. Finish is soft and dry. Pleasant and well balanced. A nice example of an English bitter.
