Like this. Pint at the Salamander. Pours deep ruby, lacy head. Toasty, roasty nose, hint if dates and spice. Sime smoke and chocolate on the taste too. Perfect accompaniment to a sausage roll. Damn good.

Srednie piwo. Za duzo karmelu, a za malo goryczki. Przypominalo raczej dunkela niz Bittera. W smaku karmel, ciastka orzechowe i marcepan. Goryczka jako taka byla ale marna. Pianka tez niewielka i szybko opada. Klarowna rubinowo miedziana barwa. Nic szczegolnego.

Grain and cereal malts, bread, light caramel and fruity. Clear, dark brown, small, creamy, beige head. Light sweet. Intense malts continue, bread, grain, light toffee. Just about boring Bitter, not bad, but nothing extraordinary at all. Bottle from Waitress, Bath.
