Dark Side is an impressive and seriously smooth stout, brewed with flair and diligence using a blend of dark roasted malts and an old-fashioned (and rather famous) English hop called Fuggles. Dark Side contains wheat and barley malt.

Flaska. Svart med ett beigt skum. Dofter av rostad malt, choklad och smörkola. Smakinslag av rostad malt, trä, mjölkchoklad, aska och karamell. Torr munkänsla.

UPDATED: JAN 15, 2018 Bottle at a house party when I was looking for a change, but a bit far gone to remember much about it. It was followed by the DJ playing "Baggy Trousers" and "Lip up Fatty" which cleared the dancefloor of everyone but me. A good stout with bitter hops and a rather pleasant mouthfeel, but deserves a re-rate. I did however come home with the remaining 11 bottles of the case as the lady who brought them didn't want them and no one else did either. Result! Re rate Jan 2018 - An interesting low abv stout without the mouthfeel that you would normally expect from the style. There was plenty of toasted malt in the flavour and some good bitter hops. I would classify this as a dark bitter and there is nothing wrong with it at all. I have 7 bottles left and I am looking forward to drinking them.

Bottle from West Country Ales, Cheddar, Somerset. Black with a thick white head. It has a chocolate, liquorice, roasted and brine flavours followed by a slight dried fruit and roasted finish. Very good.

Keg at Curio Lounge, Stroud. Black with a thick beige nitro head. Mild chocolate roasty flavour, some fizz, quite watery. Like an old school keg stout; would undoubtedly be far better on cask.

UPDATED: JUL 26, 2017 Butelka 500ml. Czarny kolor z delikatnym rubinowym refleksem. Piana srednia ,bezowa ,szybko opada do obreczy. Intensywny aromat kawy i czekolady, palone slody i lukrecja. w smaku dodatkowo pojawiaja sie sliwki lub ciemne owoce i lekkie "dymione’ akcenty.

Tap at Bath Ales. Steady creamy head on top of a brown-red body. Really easy going. More caramel than roast. Very mellow and malt centered. Creamy, straightforward.

bergstaden (3327) - Røros, NORWAY - JUN 5, 2017
Black with off white head - Dark malt body with some fruity tones - Malt body with some roasted notes with bitterness - Malt goes into the finish that is on the thin side - This was nice, but a little bit thin

Svart med lys brunt kremete skum. Mineralsk lukt i starten, fløte og noe søt lakris. Absolutt smooth! Smaker søt lakris, lett kaffe og fløte. Kort.
