Dark Side is an impressive and seriously smooth stout, brewed with flair and diligence using a blend of dark roasted malts and an old-fashioned (and rather famous) English hop called Fuggles. Dark Side contains wheat and barley malt.

Bottle. Clear red brown beer with a large beige head. Aroma is malty with notes of caramel, toffee, bread, dried fruit and herbs. Flavor is malty with notes of caramel, bread, honey, molasses, herbs and toffee. Well balanced.

Mycket mrkt rdbrun med litet beiget skum. I doften finns lite charkuterier, kaffe och mrk choklad. Smaken r rostad med kaffe, lite lakrits och en antydan till mrk frukt, eftersmaken r riktigt torr. En ltt men nd smakrik stout i klassisk engelsk stil, imponerande att f s mycket smak med bara 4 %.

Bottle. Very Dark Brown in colour, with Reddish highlights. Malty; roasty malts, caramel, light coffee, hint of chocolate. Fruity; lightly fruity. Hoppy; grassy hops. Rather thin. Mildly sweet roast malty throughout with a slight bitter hop edge. Dry finish. OK. Drinkable. (2011-04-28)
