A rich aroma of hops and malt develops a full texture in the mouth. It has a long, deep, bitter-sweet finish. Without doubt an exceptional best bitter.

Ingredients: Maris Otter pale malt. Challenger and East Kent Goldings hops.

Distinct aroma of paint - not nice. Also looks insipid and flat in the glass. Taste is pleasant, sweet, a little bland. Nothing really to recommend it - and it smells horrible.

DrNosha (2574) - Württemberg, Germany, GERMANY - SEP 14, 2017
500ml Flasche. Dunkel kupferfarbenes Bier mit flachem Schaum. Malz und Karamel in der Nase. Bitter cremiger Geschmack. Ein Hauch Lakritz.

Davros IX (449) - Hertford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 11, 2017
A proper English bitter that veers towards best bitter territory. Lots of strong dark malt and a nice bitter flavour and texture from the hops. Biscuit and a welcome farmyard flavour made this a very pleasurable pint.

Bijl (775) - NETHERLANDS - AUG 18, 2017
Kopergeel, licht crèmekleurige schuimkraag, helder, iets koolzuur. Aroma: Zeer moutig, brood/biscuit, wat spicy hops, iets fruit. Smaak: Moutig en brood, beetje floraal en zoetig, iets fruitig, aarde/mossige en kruidige noble hops, een aangename bitter. Decent brew! Medium body, zacht koolzuur, zacht mondgevoel, afdronk is moutig, bitter en iets droog.

500ml bottle. Pours amber with a lasting off white head. Nose is dark fruits, toffee, Christmas cake and some floral hop. Medium carbonation. Fruity, malty, sweet and some dry hop bitterness on the finish. Pretty decent brew.

chocolatepoppa (7) - Bath, Somerset, ENGLAND - JUL 20, 2017 does not count
Dark amber colouration with a small white head. Medium aroma consisting of malts, light hops and a slight hint of bitters. Smooth consistency, slightly foam heavy, taste is malty with subtle hints of floral sweetness. Overall, a very nice autumnal beer, best accompanied with a fishing trip and a nap

A traditional style bitter beefed up a bit. Deep rich amber colour, smells promising. Nice maltiness balanced with the hops and bite. Like this a lot.

mzaar (3595) - Varberg, SWEDEN - JUN 26, 2017
Flaska.

Light amber with off white head - Malt aroma with some hops that has a herbal hint - Malt body with some hops that has some herbal bitterness - The malt and herbal bitterness goes into the finish with some dry notes - This was nice
