Bottle at a house party when I was trying to wake up my taste buds! A very earthy ginger flavour to this beer that I would say it is more of a ginger beer rather than a beer with some ginger. If you see what I mean. The flavour really didn't do it for me, but it did the job and got me ready for the next round.

This (ginger) beer is exactly what it claims to be. Not too much ginger, not too much hops. Some people could argue that the ginger taste could be a bit more dominant, but I would argue that this is probably exactly weighted both ways. What it does lack, though, is some more alcohol percentage, to give it the last kick to the throat. Could be that they could hire an American IPA brewer to give it some kick and a French cider producer to give it a bit more class? Must admit, tough, that the beer in itself, is very addictive. High-five to the brewery for giving us this option at the shelves.

500ml bottle at the 17th Feb 2016 Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting: cheers Mike for this ’tick’. It’s a Ginger beer and tastes/smells and looks like one: I don’t like Ginger flavoured beers. Scored objectively.

500ml bottle @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, courtesy of Mike. Pours clear gold, white head. Aroma is pure ginger root. Taste continues with largely root ginger flavours and a dry finish. Not massively into root ginger, so can’t say this is for me.

50 cl. bottle at home. High fluffy long lasting white head leaving long curtoans on the glass. Pretty good looking clear dark amber body. Good roasted malt straw caramel ginger balanced aroma where the ginger is not too domininant which it often is. In the flavor the ginger is, however, quite dominant and for some reasons I get some soapy notes as well. Low carbonation. Long dry finish. Tasty for a 3.8% beer but the soapy notes are not exactly pleasant.

Pretty boring. The head is non-existent and very lightly carbonated. There is a spicy ginger undertone but not much else.

Bottle. Clear golden appearance. Small head and slightly spicy. Pretty inoffensive-that’s all you can say about this one.

Clear golden of color with a white head. An aroma of spice and ginger. A flavor of ginger and spice.
