A great golden beer with a fresh citrus, hoppy aroma. This wonderful wholesome organic ale has a dry and bitter finish which brings you right back to earth.

From Bottle pours a very pale gold colour with bright white head which doesnt last too long. Aroma is quite malty, grassy and earthy hops with a note of citrus there and straw. Taste is medum sweet, not cloying and nicely balanced with some bitterness. A decent bottled ale!

Bottle from Waitrose, consumed as home. Light gold, quite clear - Im surprised how pale this is - with minimal head. Not a lot of visible carbonation either. Malty aroma, with grassy/earthy notes. Hints of banana and citrus, maybe with a tiny bit of bubblegum. Clean, crisp sweet and malty taste. Some sticky hop bitterness in the finish, but this is still a lot sweeter than I expected. Slightly gluey and almost resinous aftertaste. Ok.

Medium snowwhite head over big-bubbled clear metallic golden beer. Flowery, aromatic, but also honeyish nose, malty. Sweet-honeyish with just a touch of bitterishness in the finish Light body, bit undercarbonated and watery finish. Nothing very special. Txs to Stefaan!

Cask at The Market Tavern, Durham, 3.75/pint. Pours clear light golden with a smooth, white head. Muted aroma of wheat, straw and a touch of citrus. The taste is slightly bitter, especially on the finish with earthy, grassy flavours, but on the whole its a dull golden ale. Mediocrity in a glass.
