From the 12oz poured into a tulip glass: hazy dark amber brown with about and inch of constantly sustained tan head. It’s got a very nice pumpkin pie aroma; not overly spiced, but definitely vanilla, pumpkin, nutmeg and a little alcohol. The flavor is sweet, pumpkin and spice, a little vegetal, with a mild roast bitter finish. Full bodied with plenty of suspension. It’s a great pumpkin brew and one of my faves from this producer. Well done. milljam (682) - Norman, Oklahoma, USA - DEC 15, 2009
Aroma has nice notes of spice (cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, vanilla) and pumpkin. Flavor is a nice balance between the pumpkin, and the spices (see aroma). Its nice to see a pumpkin ale actually use pumpkin (and not just the spices) and use it effectively. Great fall brew! WesKBob (563) - Bethany, Oklahoma, USA - SEP 27, 2010
Bottle. Pours a hazy orange-amber color. Big off-white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma is light pumpkin, cinnamon and some light citrus. Flavor is pumpkin, cinnamon and vanilla. Medium, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Nice pumpkin beer. lumpsowers (287) - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA - AUG 13, 2010
Cloudy amber pour, big head and lace. Citrus, light pumpkin aroma. Very fizzy, tart orange citrus flavor, is followed by buttery pumpkin flavor. Light spice and cinnamon, actually pretty good, this is one of the better pumpkin brews I’ve had.

This one was hard to rate due to every bottle erupting upon opening (the beer was ready to jump into the glass). Hazy orange-amber pour into thick foamy beige head that slowly fades into melting lacing, leaving behind a thin layer of foam. Aroma of roasted pecans, pumpkin, and allspice. Initial flavor of vanilla that slowly falls into a pumpkin patch with a bit of spicy kick in the finish. Like the bottle says: "This is what pumpkin pie wants to be when it grows up."

Strong spicey aroma eminating from the lacey head. Smells of ginger, clove, and alcohol. Pumpkin can also be detected, which makes sense. Has a cloudy, murky, hazy liquid appearance with a VERY frothy head that mimicks many pilsners and lagers. Heavy, superbly sweet taste!! Full bodied as I have ever seen a pumpkin ale. Texture is slick/thick with average to lively carbonation. Finish is long and pleasant, with a strong presence of alcohol in the nose. Overall, this is the best pumpkin ale I’ve ever had. It would be hard to top this one! Deserving of a full five!!! brewmonger (1) - Okarche, Oklahoma, USA - DEC 18, 2009 does not count
Very festive brew. I loved the aromas. I almost expected the pumpkin to be overwhelming, but it was just about right. The spices were also very well balanced. Nice lacing. Very nice.
