Crushed at GABF ’10. Pretty good for a pumpkin beer. Nice spice and pumpkin presence in the aroma and the flavor. A little bit sour in the finish, but overall this nice. degbert (1774) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUN 1, 2012
UPDATED: JUN 3, 2012 Bottle. Pours a foamy hazy red-brown with a high, ecru head. Amazing nose -- cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg -- so often pumpkin beers don’t take advantage of the nose. Very rich on the mouthfeel, and not at all sweet; definite clove and nutmeg notes, and a pleasing pumpkin vegetal element. Finishes long and almost, but not quite, acrid - and as it warmed, the nutmeg note became almost unpleasant. Still, quite nice. (And the fact that the dude on the label looks like Frylock should get some bonus points.) lumpsowers (287) - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA - AUG 13, 2010
Cloudy amber pour, big head and lace. Citrus, light pumpkin aroma. Very fizzy, tart orange citrus flavor, is followed by buttery pumpkin flavor. Light spice and cinnamon, actually pretty good, this is one of the better pumpkin brews I’ve had.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange-amber color. Big off-white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma is light pumpkin, cinnamon and some light citrus. Flavor is pumpkin, cinnamon and vanilla. Medium, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Nice pumpkin beer. kevinator (2268) - The Colony, Texas, USA - NOV 27, 2013
This was OK. The aroma was pumpkin and sweet malt. The appearance was unappealing. It was a murky copper color with a colony of debris. Particulates are fine but this looked to have its own ecosystem. The foamy head was out of control. In fact, I had to use two glasses to pour it before it finally seted down. The palate was thick and pleasant with a good weight. Flavors were pumpkin and spice with a heavy grain bill. Some alcoholic presence as well. Like I said, decent but a very chaotic brew.

Sampled at GABF on 9/16/2010. This pumpkin beer pours a medium orange gold color . Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, sweet, pumpkin and spicy. A medium bodied pumpkin beer. The malts are fruity and sweet, pumpkin and spicy. The hops are herbal. A fairly spicy pumpkin beer with lots of nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and allspice. Not very sweet. The spice tend to dominate the pumpkin and malt. Interesting beer though. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is spicy. HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - AUG 19, 2011
Sampled at GABF 2010. I’m telling you, these guys that run this brewery are convincing. They told me to try their pumpkin beer. I was all, " but i don’t really like pumpkin beers." But, the told me their pumpkin beer was awesome. Pours a hazy, dirty orange with off white head. Aroma of pumpkin spice, mild tartness. Flavor is strong pumpkin sweetness with mild spice. A touch of sourness in the finish. Overall, pretty solid pumpkin beer. Ungstrup (37905) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 8, 2011
Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of lemons, wood, and brettanomyces. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, lemons, brettanomyces, and alcohol. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - JUL 9, 2010
Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a dirty yellow color with a white head. The aroma is cinnamon and cloves with some toffee and pumpkin. The flavor is less complex. All I really get is the pumpkin along with what I believe is allspice. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not bad, but not one I will see out again. OKplus (787) - Oklahoma, USA - JUL 26, 2013
12oz served in an Allagash cervoise
A - GUSHER! Overflowed as soon as I opened it. (Served cold at 43 degrees) Quickly poured it and a massive 2 finger lightly tanned head formed. Below was a murky brown with chunks of sediment swirling around.
S - Nutmeg, sweet grains, pumpkin puree, metal, nuts.
T - Nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, clove, bitter pecans, semi-sweet pumpkin, gingerbread malt,
M - Moderate prickly carbonation, full bodied, semi-chewy but smooth.
Well it’s another gusher from this brewery. This is one of the better beers I’ve had from them. It has very good potential but needs some work. I will say that I’ve had this at a festival and it was much better.
