Manslow (1649) - Warsaw, POLAND - MAY 21, 2015
Butelka 0,33l w Luksemburgu wypita. Złoty kolor z białą piękną pianą. Aromat słodowy i owocowy. Dobrze zbilansowane piwo, słodkie a na końcu wytrawne

330 ml. bottle sampled @ home. BBF 27.02.2015. Hazy orange, creamy egg-white head. Nose is weird spoiled lactic metallic yeast, white sugar, bit mold,… Fizzy metallic, spoiled eggs, off-dough, corn, weird frothy paper, metallic white sugar taste, cloves, paper honey,…. Body is like metal & wet paper,…. Not a fan of whatever this is.

Bottle from Auchan. Appealing amber appearance with a tight white head. Cardboard aroma, stale papier mache, sugary. Medium carbonation, quite pleasing on the palate. Flavour is cloyingly sweet - some fruit candy sweetness, but mostly just tooth-melting white sugar. Nasty.

McWorta (1627) - LUXEMBOURG - FEB 13, 2015
Deep golden colour with a frothy off-white head. Aromas of malt, basement, floral, yeast notes develop. Some carbonated texture with a light-medium body. Sweet-bitter and medium finish.

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2014 330ml bottle served in a small Leffe chalice. Enjoyed at Luxembourg airport. A: Pours a clear dark yellow to orange (golden) color forming a medium, bubbled and soapy white head. Medium retention and lots of molasses and lingering lacings left in the glass. A thin layer remains forever on its surface S: Sweet, fruity and malty. Reminds a Leffe Blond. Strong notes of pale malts, honey, belgian candi sugar and spices. Strong belgian style bready yeasts T: Pretty much as the nose. Sweet upfront. Very grainy and fruity. Strong notes of pale malts, honey, caramel, candi sugar and spices like cloves. Some notes of peaches and oranges. Yeasts are very bready, belgian style. Reminds Leffe Blond in the mouth too. Light bitterness in the end M: Medium, creamy and a a bit molasses body. Sweet grains in the aftertaste O: Good drinkability. Classic belgian ale made in Luxembourg [ BA Review @ 2/21/2014 ]

Again a big thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks very simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, huge head. Shy malty aroma. Starts dry-malty, some fruity notes of apricot, light metallically background. Finish more dry, a bit boring malty. Okay.

Bottle thnx to Dorien Pours clear blonde, very big white head Smell is chemical maltyness . Taste is sweet, corny , some malts, bit metallic . Some bitterness. rather thick mouthfeel for this type of beer, but feels boozier than 6,6

Fresh malty nose. The beer starts sweet-strange. Herbal hints with fresh malty grain. Smooth with a nice herbal bitterness. For me a bit too sweetish. The aftertaste is fresh herbal with a moderate sweetness and bitterness. Interesting...

Het flesje ziet er al goedkoop uit en zo smaakt het bier eigenlijk ook. Een betere aldi-pils.
