50cl can from roadside gas station in Lux. Malty aroma, richer than expected from a pale lager. Nice color and lacy stickiness. Taste is sweet and sharp with nice bitterness on the tongue, A pleasant surprise from Luxembourg. DJoer (1291) - NETHERLANDS - AUG 20, 2012
Amber colour little head, fresh strawberry smell, soft with a nice bitter fresh aftertaste brugmanneke (286) - GERMANY - AUG 13, 2012
(on tap) Dark golden, creamy white head. Aroma of sweet-bread-like malts and grassy hops. Very mild at first, getting stronger as the hop aroma accumulates on the palate. But there is also some creamed corn aroma, which I find suspicious. Taste is lightly sweet with only very light bitterness. Sweetness matches the malts, but that is not what I am looking for in a pale lager. Light to medium body, and not too fizzy. Hoppy aroma tends to accumulate on the palate. Drinkable due to the aromatic hops, but I am not looking forward to trying the bottled version. Chicharito1450 (1) - - JUL 15, 2012 does not count
Battin Gambrinus is far the best luxemburgish beer, but only Gambrinus because Battin Frutté, Extra or Edelpils are not that good. sebletitje (10287) - Enghien, BELGIUM - JUL 5, 2012

Big white head and plenty of lacing as it quickly slips away. Creamed corn aroma in spades. Malty flavor with some of the corn coming through. Slick and bitter. culchiem (4103) - Berlin, GERMANY - MAY 17, 2012
Draught at Lux airport. Deep gold with a thin head. Aroma of corn. Flavour is syrupy malt, sweet with an oily texture BlackHaddock (7583) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 14, 2012
Brown flip-top bottle holding 50cl of beer, best before 25th Oct 2008, drank just over a month before that date (23rd September 2008).
This is a Mister average lager/pilsner. Softer in all aspects to the often harsher German beers in the same style. I assume the water is softer somehow?
The beer poured golden and clear with very little head from the outset.
There is no true aroma to report on, the taste and mouthfeel was the regular lager blandness. This added to the softness produced a pretty boring beer to be honest. MrHangover (4693) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - MAY 6, 2012
Draft. Clear golden colour, firm white head. Littly skunk, grainy and malts. Full, refreshing flavour, easy drinkable. Good lager, easy to session with. Mariusz (12091) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - MAY 1, 2012
Clear golden, medium white head. Grainy malt aroma with earthy potatoe cellar notes. Dry with medium bitterness.
