UPDATED: OCT 17, 2014 Cask at the brewpub, served in a sample glass. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma of fruity/floral hops. Taste seems lighter then aroma, adds some grassy notes. Light body, low carbonation, soft, balanced with some bitterness on the finish. Decent casked IPA.
Tap. Pours a hazy dark copper body with a minimal wispy white head. The nose is decent, some floral and citrusy hops, crackery and doughy malt. The flavor is lightly bitter with some decent floral notes. Light crackery maltiness. Short finish, but there’s a light yeastiness there that’s nice. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, just shy of chewy with soft carbonation. Not bad really, but nothing that strikes me as all that interesting. Travlr (26085) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - SEP 1, 2013
Cask at the source. Crystal clear golden yellow color, bright white edge head. Aroma of tropical fruit, citrus. Taste is fruity and floral but nicely balanced, moderately bitter and fairly dry finish. Very tasty.
