Draft at brewpub. Pours brown with a slightly off putting woody smell like cedar which I’m not feeling. Taste as a slight malty note but it fades quickly in the finish. Meh! magsinva (1413) - Virginia, USA - JUN 16, 2012
Tap @ the pub - Id love to tell you about the aroma but I can’t smell anything because the pub is smokey and I’m allergic. Anyway, pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Lightly carbonated with some minerality, I notice the bitterness of the beer last, finishes dry. Palate is very light and refreshing. Would be a good session beer since it is light and relatively bland. BeerandBlues2 (13646) - Escondido, California, USA - AUG 14, 2011
Tap at brewery. Pours clear tawny with a small, creamy light tan head, short retention with spotty lacing. Aroma is caramel and nutty malt, no detectable hops, light cedar and fruity ester notes. Flavor is mostly malt with light bitterness, woody notes, and a dry finish. Light body, low warmth, medium carbonation.
