from Erzbierschof.ch - hazy reddish-brown in colour and with a solid persistent beige foam; aroma of dust, apples and vinegar; creamy palate and medium-bodied, unexpected notes of cork in the finish along with sourish, nutty and creamy notes juiceisloose (1603) - Windermere, Florida, USA - AUG 20, 2010
750 ml bottle, courtesy beerlando. This one pours a cloudy golden yellow color and topped by a thick, well retained head of off white foam. Thick rings of lace stick to the glass as the head recedes. The aroma shows notes of spicy rye grains, dry fruits, lemon peel, and the classic JP funk from the yeast. The flavor follows and is quite spicy with notes of lemon peel, pepper, and rye to go with the funky yeast. The fruits are there, but quite dry, which is nice. Medium bodied, crisp, and dry with balanced carbonation and a nice spicy finish. This is a nice brew and much better than any standard tripel. Tmoney99 (15114) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 18, 2010
Bottle shared at RBSG 2010. Poured clear brown with an average frothy white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Complex funky toasted malt and yeast aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy balanced flavor with a medium to heavy sweet & sour finish of moderate to long duration with a small alcohol bite. This is a complex good beer. CanIHave4Beers (4236) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - AUG 17, 2010
Sampled with compliments of a kindly fellow rate-beerian at the RBSG 2010 grand tasting. Pours a hazy blond almost grayish with a good head and some lace. The aroma is lemon rind with some earthy notes and some sweet fruit. The flavor i s dry and slightly smoky with some good sour and tart notes and a bit of spiciness. yngwie (17284) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 6, 2010
Bottle, 75cl, at Mikkeller. A hazy, golden-orange beer with a dense, off-white head. Bretty nose with pale malts. Fruity flavor with pale malts and brett. Both aroma and flavor has moderate influence from the brett, some barnyard-ish and lemon-ish notes can be found. It’s full-bodied and effervescent, with little influence from the wood. An easy drinkable tripel, hiding the alcohol very well, and it’s also quite tasteful. 100506

Bottled 75cl. Brettanomyces throughout. Not bothered to write too much, because I am talking on the phone with grandma and rating and drinking this beer. Delicious. egajdzis (6830) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 2, 2010
Hazy dark golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of honey, citrus, wild yeast, wood, vanilla, rye, and wild yeast. Taste of citrus fruits, light spices, vanilla, toffee, and a wild finish. Plovmand (8682) - Grindsted, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2010
Bottle. Totally gushing! Cloudy orange with a fluffy white head. The aroma is very fruity and a bit acidic tart. Notes of coriander, sweet caramel, yeast and berries. Fruity and tart flavour with a nice acidic kick to balance the sweet caramel. I can taste the alcohol but it also complements the sweetness. Tart bitter fruity finish. Different but delicious. masonjer (609) - Holt, Michigan, USA - JUL 29, 2010
Poured a hazy copper brown. Shared by someone generous at the RBSG grand tasting 10’ (michigan!). Aroma was dusty brett, hint of rye, spice and a hint of fruit. Taste was more brett on the backend, nice balancing rye and herbal bitterness, light malt sweetness with a hint of oak. Nicely balanced beer. Pinball (12568) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 23, 2010
