Thanks to kevnic2008 for that one. Bottle looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Starts mild, fine malty, light roasty notes. Mild fruity like plum. Finish well balanced, quite drinkable. Nice!

Couleur legère brune et trouble, legère mousse. Nez banane et bubblegum. Gout doux banane, puis malt toasté et caramel. Corps moyen cremeux. Fin douce fruité épices. Pas mal pour le style.

Smalle (228) - Leuven, BELGIUM - OCT 8, 2014
Bottle at some restaurant near the brewery. Typical yeasty-banana aroma. The taste is also what you expect from a decent Weizen : some banana, some citrus and a bit tart in the finish. Good example of the style.

500 mL bottle from Beers of Europe into a pint glass. Lively head at first, which then disappears completely. Opaque amber. Fair weissbier aroma. Its alright, but pretty plain.

ChrisOs Marvellous Pre GBBF Mega Tasting. Light haze on this amber beer. Residual white head. Light dry palate. Airy. Sweet malts - insipid. Dry finish. Airy rubbish.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012, London. Hey, I brought this one! Pours hazy amber with a strong, white foam head. Nose has some leafy hops, wheat, toasty wheat, yeast. Medium sweet flavor with some dark, toasty wheat, more yeast. Medium bodied with average, creamy carbonation. Sweet finish with more doughy malts and yeast. It’s OK stuff. Straight-ahead, no surprises.

Bottle 500ml. @ chriso s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2012.

Unclear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light malty, caramel, wheat, light moderate yeasty, yeast, banana notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramel, wheat, yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120804]

Bottle at Chris O’s pre-GBBF shindig 2012. Cloudy orange pour with a white head. Citrus aroma. Light fruit flavour. Very ordinary.

Bottle @ Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig. Pours deep amber with a medium white head. The nose is peaches, some jam and spice. The taste is light peach jam, wheat, cherry and a bit or wood. Medium body. Overall, a decent Dunkel. Solid, nice.
