kappldav123 (6182) - GERMANY - MAR 7, 2011
Bottle looks good, but I dont like that twist-off caps. Beer in the glass light golden, nice head. Starts mild, modest dry, in the finish more and more grasy-spicy, modest sourish. Well balanced and quite drinkable. Nice!

Bottle - twist-top. Lightly sweet barley malt aroma. Light golden yellow color with moderate head. Lightly sweet barley malt and moderately bitter grass hops flavor. Nice standard pilsener.

jaghana (6412) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - NOV 12, 2010
Bottle 33cl. A clear yellow beer with medium head. Smell is on lager and grain. Aroma is malty quite sweet with medium body, slightly spice hops, some grassy vegetable hints as for some other Ulmer products, drinkable, in the average.

Bottle. The soft smell of grass and hops. The head is medium large, white and creamy with a normal carbonation. The body is pale yellow. The taste of hops, quite bitter, a light medical finish. The body is light to medium strong, creamy with a lot of carbonation. A good Pilsener.

0,5 l bottle.
Nice appearance with a pale yellow body and a foamy white head that diminishes to a small lacing one. Bready malt and sourish yeast in the nose with a nice, clear and herbal hop perfume. Medium to full bodied one with a nice malt and balanced hop character. Nice pilsner, better than the other boring pilsners.

2.9
bierkoning (13893) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - AUG 28, 2005
UPDATED: AUG 14, 2006 Bottle. Big steady foamy head. Slight hay aroma. Somewhat hoppy hay-like flavor, with apple clearly noticeable. Thin. Soapy bitter aftertaste with a hint of plastic. Not very good. Perhaps I had a bad bottle, because the second sample was better: haysroma. Firm hopbitter, even a bit citric flavor with hay. Long bitter aftertaste with hay and a touch of citrus. On the thin side, but tasty.
