500 ml bottle. Clear gold color with whin white head. Smells some yeast and butter. Taste are soft water minimal bitterness with some popcorn and butter with sweetcorn. Aftertaste short time minimal bitter with white bread and some butter. Strange beer but it was served cold and I was thirsty after long walking ir Riga center so I enjoy it

Pours clear golden with a large head. Sweetish malty aroma with corn, bread and a hint of yeast. Taste is smooth and malty with some bread, butter and moderate touch of hops. A decent lager (0,5l bottle)

BlackHaddock (8230) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUL 28, 2017
500ml bottle: BBD 20th Aug 2017. Shared with my wife at home late on 28th July 2017, poured into two ’La Chouffe’ badged tulip glasses. Both glasses held a bright, clear golden bodied beer, the heads an unlasting white affair. Malty, grainy nose, sweetcorn also in the aroma. Taste is semi-sweet malts/grains and again sweetcorn. Body depth is thin and weak, not a beer I will be seeking out. Obtained from a store in Boston, Lincs.

RBESG 2017, sampled on July 19, 2017.
Folkklubs Ala Pagrabs, Riga. Pre-gathering.
From tap.
Hazy golden color, very small white head. Strong butterscotch, sweet, taste. Sweet, butterscotch aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. Sweet, butterscotch scent.
A butterscotch bomb that I did not enjoy.

How: Draught.
Where: Folkklubs Ala Pagrabs, Riga.
Appearance: Golden colour with a white head.
Aroma: Butterscotch, sweaty feet, butter.
Body: Light to medium body, medium carbonation.
Flavour: Phenols, butter, sweet malt.
Comment: Accidently took a big gulp of this. Don’t do that. This is just awful.

jamesie1857 (1992) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 21, 2017
500ml bottle from European Shop, Rotherham Centre - Clear straw body, thick white shortlasting top. Nose is yeasty and breadlike, something that carries through to the taste.

Juks (1465) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUL 19, 2017
Tap at Folkklub, Riga. Slightly hazy golden, almost no head. Very sweet latvian aroma, sweet malts, butter. Taste is sweet, really, cake, butter. Light body, average carbo. Why?

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear golden with no head. Sweet malty nose, clean and a little bready. Medium body, sweet, clean malts, a touch of metal and a dry, lightly hoppy finish. Clean and solid macro. 040717
