Bottle 500ml. @ Petalax Beer Festival 2010 - the 4th. edition.
Clear light to medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, herbal, light buttery. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, fruity, sweet sugar - malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
An orange beer with no head. There no real aroma. The flavor is malty with an OK bitter end. Travlr (26943) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUL 19, 2017

Yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is malts, butter, some metal and mild chemical waste. Flavour is quite much the same in a quite harsh balance.

Bottled. Golden coloured, big white head. Aroma is quite sweet, caramellish malts. Sweetish flavour of sweet alcohol at first (around 7-8C). After it gets waremer it kind of gets fuller, it’s sweet alcohol along with some sweetish fruit. Doesn’t need much, but this is actually very good for a lager, as "getting warmer" is not a big issue, rather it is adding tothe flavour.
Bottled. Golden coloured with small head. Sharp cellary apple aroma. Sweet and fruity with some honey and low bitterness.

Golden body, creamy head and some particulate matter. Oh well, it’s not much. Cidery esters in both aroma and palate. Gently malty character with sweetish finish. Judging by Per’s rating, this apple character is intended. I’m not keen. TBone (18665) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 3, 2010

Golden coloe, small white head. Yeasty, grainy, toilet aroma. Diacetylic, herbal even licorice flavor. Decent body. Lingering aftertaste of herbs and diacetyl. Unclean.

Honey golden with small white head. Aroma of malts and phenol. Sweet rounded malty mouthdfeel. Some hop bitterness in the finish and oily aftertaste. This is one of better Latvian lagers - which does not need much.
Mid gold, tiny head. Pleasant sweet light malt aroma. Sweet soft bready taste at first, but the bitterness builds up and becomes annoying after a while. yngwie (17364) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 26, 2008
Bottle. It pours a clear golden body with a small white head. Grainy and hop-fruity aroma with a slight sewer-like hint. Quite bitter, with a fruity and grainy flavor too. Medium body, and a quite bitter finish. Sure not a big beer, neither strenght or flavorwise, but it’s sure drinkable. I like the bitterness in this one, but the rest is rather ordinary. Bottle, 4.8%. Mild grassy hop aroma. Clear dark golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is very slightly hoppy, then turns a bit more malty. Slightly sugary, but OK.
