Bottle: Simply didn´t get the point of this one.... where are the Blues (musically speaking?).
bottle. light barley character in the nose, which is more than can be said for the other Bavaria products. mild plastic, some cooked corn and some dust / chalk. light body, mostly watery, pale and thin, but again has an actual, noticeable barley malt flavor, only quite mild. thin, empty finish. bleh. I like the country and the people of Costa Rica, but they need to work on their beer a bit. Here is an alternative to Florida Bebidas other releases with a different vibe. Attractive pour. Yeasty aroma is not the best. The flavor is smooth and a touch fruity. Hops are barely present. This is some sort of PL - is it a copy of Labatt Blue? Is "Blue" becoming a beer style? coldbrewky (1731) - Hippetown East, New York, USA - APR 18, 2011
OOOOh a " Special Edition" beer. Can from the smelly rip and run. A few central lily pad carbonation columns. Nose of grain as can is opened. Some light lemon/ citrus notes at end of brief body. Finish abrupt. Sparse spotty lacing. Mellow gold in glass with a thin white head. There are five stars on the can but only one of them is larger than the others....?

Bottle: Poured a bright golden color lager with a small bubbly head with minimal retention and not much lacing. Adjunct dominated lager with balanced level of sweetness. No hops presence were noticeable and complexity is minimal. Another bland lager brewed by this macro brewery.
