A deep red beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of smoke and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of sweet berries combined with a hint of acidity. An OK beer - but not as good as other Oud Bruins. stouby (4666) - Holbæk, DENMARK - NOV 7, 2005

This beer is pure watery cola. sweet, sticky and caramel-malty. Yuck. Appearance is ugly too; Brown coloured with no head. Never again.

Sweet, sugary, sticky and caramelly. Thin. Chicken food aftertaste.
Suitable only for drinking after long and hard labor or sport activities. caesar (7156) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAY 13, 2004
Clear redbrown color, short brown head. Not much aroma, light malty, sugar water. Taste is like cola, caramel and sweet sugar, some malts. Sparkling mouthfeel. DJH-Bird99 (208) - Nijkerk, NETHERLANDS - APR 24, 2002
This is beer for old lady’s, not for me
